Interior design based in Cherokee County, North Carolina

During its time in Florida, Finn Design, Inc. specialized in custom cabinetry, interior design, redesign, furniture, accessories, Feng Shui and Aging-in-Place. It was owned and operated by a Finnish couple who immigrated to South Florida in the late 1980s. The company was established in 1994 and moved to Melbourne, Florida, in 2001. Finn Design dedicated many years to creating beautiful spaces on Florida's Space Coast before moving to Cherokee County, North Carolina, in 2025.

Juha Ylonen is an artisan, and Riitta Ylonen (CAPS, NCIDQ) is an interior designer and Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist, Certified by the National Council for Interior Design Qualification, and is a Certified Feng Shui consultant. She has expertise in virtually all aspects of interior design from the space planning stage to completion of the project, including designing custom furniture, bedding, window treatments, window shades and upholstered pieces. Many projects are achieved by collaborating with some clients' existing pieces and art.
